From Fake to Fruitful

You might be familiar with the story of Jesus cursing the fig tree outside of Jerusalem because it wasn't bearing fruit. And you might be confused about this story, as are many others. Turns out the fig tree is a parallel to what was going on at the temple in Jerusalem - where the religious leaders were only appearing to follow God's Laws, but their hearts were not doing these things for the right reasons.
