Racing Tires on a Dead Car

Imagine you're going to drive a racecar in a race. The car just got a new paint job, new sensors and other technology has been installed, there are brand-new tires on the car, and your pit crew is alert and ready to go. But there's a problem - the engine on the car isn't working. In fact, it has blow up!

This is a good visual picture of what it looks like to live a life full of good works for God, but inwardly we have no faith, no heart for Him.

So what can we do about this?
